Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) #2008001

In order to continue our success, we seek a licensed mechanical engineer with 10 or more years experience in the layout and design of HVAC and process piping systems for commercial, infrastructure and/or industrial facilities.

We desire that your background and qualifications include:
• Involvement on projects involving both new installations and retrofits.
• Familiarity with various types of HVAC and filtration systems including chilled water systems, steam systems, cooling towers, VAV systems, etc.
• Ability to perform cooling and heating load calculations, duct calculations, hydraulic calculations, etc.
• Ability to generate HVAC control sequences.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, including preparation of complete engineering specifications and equipment schedules and specifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to manipulate AutoCAD files (2004 or later).
• Registered engineer in North Carolina.

Required Skills: Must have strong project management skills, able to manage multiple projects from schematic through construction phase. Be a team player with the ability to complete code compliant designs and specifications with little supervision across all disciplines.
