Medical Gas Systems Upgrade Client:   Lenoir Memorial Hospital Project: Multiple projects consisting of upgrades to oxygen, medical air and medical vacuum supply systems. The oxygen system upgrade consisted of replacing the existing bulk oxygen system with a 6,000 gallon main liquid tank, a 500 gallon liquid reserve tank, vaporizers, pressure reducing station and new underground piping to feed the entire building. The medical air system upgrade consisted of replacing the existing compressors with a packaged triplex system including oil-less compressors and desiccant dryers. The medical vacuum system upgrade consisted of replacing the existing pumps with a packaged triplex system including rotary vane pumps. Other upgrades included replacement of the master alarm panels and associated wiring to comply with NFPA requirements.
