Absorption Chiller & Cooling Tower Client:   Pharmaceutical Company Project: This project involved the installation of a new 1500 ton steam absorption chiller system to replace an existing 800 ton electric chiller. The project also included installation of a new cooling tower and concrete basin, piping, a new pipe bridge, and a new tower pump and basin, which was connected to the existing tower basin. The chiller was installed inside the existing plant. Modifications to the plant included installation of a new steel framed storage mezzanine over the new chiller, installation of numerous wall penetrations for louvers, piping, a new monorail hoist, and many others.
