The East Group is seeking a skilled and collaborative Senior Architect to join our Team in our Greenville, NC or Raleigh, NC office. This full-time role is ideal for someone with 10+ years of experience who is passionate about thoughtful design, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a multidisciplinary environment.

About the Role
As a Senior Architect at The East Group, you’ll lead project teams that impact communities across the region, with a focus on healthcare, industrial, and public sector projects. You’ll lead project teams, guide clients through complex design processes, and help mentor the next generation of architects.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients
- Collaborate with clients to define goals, project constraints, and design direction
- Lead or oversee design solutions from concept through construction
- Prepare and oversee design presentations, construction documents, and specifications
- Ensure code compliance and coordinate with reviewing agencies
- Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and design teams
- Support business development through proposals and client engagement
- Provide construction administration support as needed
- Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration
What You Bring
- 10+ years of architectural design and project delivery experience
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited program
- Architectural license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Proficiency in Revit is preferred
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous learning
