Senior Landscape Architect

The East Group is seeking a skilled and collaborative Senior Landscape Architect to join our team in our Greenville, NC or Raleigh, NC office. This full-time role is ideal for someone with 10+ years of experience who is passionate about thoughtful design, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a multidisciplinary environment.

About the Role
As a Senior Landscape Architect, you’ll be a key leader on projects that shape the future of our communities—including healthcare and industrial sites, municipal infrastructure, large-scale developments, parks, and higher education campuses. You’ll lead project teams, guide clients through complex processes, and help mentor the next generation of landscape architects. This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to impactful, community-focused work.
- Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients
- Collaborate with clients to define goals, site constraints, and design parameters
- Lead the design or oversight of landscape architectural site and infrastructure projects from concept through construction
- Prepare and oversee construction documents and specifications
- Review codes and regulations to ensure compliance and project success
- Manage schedules, scopes, budgets, and project teams across disciplines
- Support business development efforts through proposals and presentations
- Provide construction administration support as needed
- Mentor junior staff and help foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s of Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
- PLA license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Familiarity with Civil 3D and Adobe Creative Suite
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous learning
