The East Group designed the site for East Carolina University’s new $122 million, 210,000 SF student union and 700-car parking deck on a 13-acre site along the 10th Street corridor. The design included utility infrastructure, roadway realignment, transit facilities, and stormwater management to support the development.

Our team collaborated with North Carolina-based architecture firms and coordinated with multiple authorities having jurisdiction, including the North Carolina Department of Transportation, the Greenville Utilities Commission, and the City of Greenville. The project required extensive coordination and permitting, including an NCDOT Encroachment Agreement, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Stormwater Management Plan, Public Water Supply Permit, and Wastewater Collection System Permit.
