The East Group provided design services for a new helipad and expanded parking facilities to support improved emergency access and campus circulation. The project converted an existing physician parking area into a fully compliant helipad, designed in accordance with FAA AC 150/5390 standards for safety, lighting, and functionality.

Site improvements included modifications to adjacent sidewalks to create a direct pedestrian connection between the helipad and the hospital’s ICU entry. The project also expanded the main hospital parking area, increasing capacity and improving access for patients and visitors.

These improvements enhance the hospital’s ability to support rapid emergency transport while creating a more connected and accessible campus environment.
