The East Group worked with Novo Nordisk Engineering (NNE) to design a new office buildout within existing space at the Novo Nordisk campus. The project supported NNE’s relocation from the first floor to the second, freeing up space for additional operations within the facility.

The new layout includes an open office with seating for more than 30 staff, along with breakout rooms and a large conference space to support collaboration and day-to-day operations.

To accommodate the increased occupancy and evolving use of the space, our team designed significant HVAC upgrades, including modifications to existing systems, a new return fan array for an existing air handler, and a new building exhaust fan. Additional improvements included new VAV boxes with hot water reheat to distribute air efficiently throughout the space.

Structural coordination ensured new equipment could be safely supported within the existing building, and electrical systems were designed to support all new and upgraded components.
