UNX-Christeyns Plant Relocation

UNX-Christeyns Plant Relocation

Christeyns North America (formerly UNX-Christeyns) relocated its 66,000 SF production facility in Greenville, transforming an existing building into a fully integrated operations space. The project included renovations to support process, lab, office, and warehouse functions, along with the installation of new process piping, storage tanks, and HVAC systems.

Our team designed HVAC systems across multiple environments, utilizing VRF systems for office, lab, and restroom areas, and providing standard and emergency ventilation for process and warehouse spaces. The project also included the routing of more than ten unique process distribution networks, connecting storage, mixing, and filling operations.

Additional scope included structural evaluation of the existing roof to support new loading conditions, design of concrete slabs for large-capacity storage tanks, and plumbing for lab and restroom facilities. Electrical systems were designed to support all new and upgraded components, and a 3D scan of the building was completed to aid in coordination and design accuracy.
